Smoke-free town, practicing beautiful countryside Plan
In order to realize clean heating, upgrade rural industries, build characteristic towns, and implement the beautiful countryside Plan, middle and deep geothermal heating will be combined with ecological agriculture (greenhouses, breeding, etc.), tourism, drying of agricultural products, and so on.
Currently, the state promotes energy conservation and emission reduction, and it strongly advocates clean heating, with geothermal energy being the best option. In order to promote the use of geothermal energy and industrial development in Dongying City, Dongying District and Shandong Geological and Mineral Engineering Survey Institute signed a framework cooperation agreement in April 2019. It has been agreed to use Niuzhuang Town as a pilot to promote the project of "Clean Heating Smokeless Town" to replace the current coal-fired heating and promote the comprehensive utilization of geothermal energy+industry. The heating area is 247,800 square meters.
Energy saving, emission reduction, economy and high efficiency
No coal consumption for heating, saving about 10,000 tons of standard coal emissions and 26,000 tons of carbon dioxide annually;
The direct operating cost is much lower than that of coal-fired heating.
