Taking the implementation of major science and technology projects as an example, our city's scientific research workers have accumulated more than 200 key core technologies, broken foreign technological monopoly in fields such as ultra-fine electronic glass fiber, megawatt wind turbine, and blood purification system, and cultivated a number of new economic growth points such as new energy vehicles and wind power generation.

According to the person in charge of the Municipal Science and Technology Commission, during the "Twelfth Five Year Plan" period, communication equipment, high-performance integrated circuits, new energy vehicles, rail transit equipment, environmental protection equipment, wind power equipment and systems, light source equipment, new materials, instrumentation, biomedicine, etc. will be the key industrial clusters in the strategic emerging industrial highlands.
